Feel it For Yourself in Colorful Curaçao
Curaçao is a destination that lives beyond compare, claiming a category of its own when it comes to tropical getaways. Every element of this southern Caribbean gem is steeped in history, fueled by diversity, and covered in a wave of pastel colors. Upon arrival, guests are instantly transported to a world of many worlds, filled with a melting pot of over 55 nationalities and a distinct blend of European and Caribbean flair that shines through the colorful colonial architecture, tasty cuisine, local art and music scene, and deep historic roots. The neighborhood of Otrobanda, often referred to as the “colorful cultural center” is just one area that immerses you into the heart of the island. This now up-and-coming art district, located in Curaçao’s capital city of Willemstad, not only offers dozens of murals, sculptures, and art installations, but is also home to museums, main shopping areas, restaurants, bars, and more. When visitors aren’t taking in the island vibe, they can soak up the perfect year-round weather, take their pick at one of over 35 incredible beaches to kick back and relax, or fill up their itineraries with an endless list of activities primed for adventure and relaxation, above and below the sea. Of course, you can expect the amenities and idyllic beauty that comes with any typical Caribbean getaway, but it is the island’s vibrant energy, celebratory spirit, and charm that simply can’t be replicated anywhere but Curaçao. Feel it for yourself.

Curaçao
The vibrant island of Curaçao is ready to be explored and enjoyed. The southern Caribbean gem not only provides a getaway beyond compare, but an experience that warms your spirit the moment you arrive. Draped in a wave of endless color, guests find that there is a surprise that awaits around every corner. For starters, the island is home to over 35 beautiful beaches, stunning hotels and resorts, and a unique blend of European and Caribbean flair that comes to life through the architecture, cuisine, and local rhythm. Apart from the whirlwind of culture and picturesque views, Curaçao boasts perfect year-round weather for activities above and below the sea–whether in search of relaxing walk taking in the local art and murals in the capital city, and UNESCO World Heritage Site, of Willemstad or an adventurous deep-sea dive in one of the 70 premier dive spots on island. The possibilities are nearly infinite and perfect for every kind of traveler. It’s simple, Curaçao is the Caribbean’s best kept secret, and it’s time to feel it for yourself.

Destination Highlights

WILLEMSTAD
Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The lively city is divided into two parts, Punda and Otrobanda and linked together by the Queen Emma Bridge. In Punda, visitors can shop, eat, and take in the infamous Handleskaade, a waterfront strip of colorful Dutch colonial architecture lining the St. Anna Bay. The streets of Otrobanda present their own rainbow of color with vibrant murals, sculptures, and artistic expressions brought to life by the island’s very own local artists. The area also offers a peek into the history of the island with walking tours and museums. There’s so much to do and explore in the heart of Curaçao.

DIVING
Year after year, this island dream solidifies its name as one of the best diving destinations in the Caribbean. Under its azure blue seas lies biodiverse reefs, one of the healthiest marine animal cultures in the Caribbean, and over 70 spectacular dive spots ranging from beginner to advanced. Beyond the endless variety available, what makes the island stand out as a premier diving destination is its location. Unlike many destinations, Curaçao is located outside of the hurricane belt. This means that divers can enjoy underwater adventures all year round.

BEACHES
Curaçao is the ideal hotspot for sun, sand, and sea. The island boasts over 35 beaches with many surrounded by cliffs and tucked in private coves. Two popular go-to’s include Cas Abao and Playa Kenepa Grandi. Cas Abao is ideal for swimmers of all ages, equipped with gazebos, and very convenient with a bar, restaurant, showers, massage facility and dive shop on hand. Playa Kenepa Grandi boasts the perfect backdrop with white sandy beaches, crystal blue waters, and a large snack bar.

DIVERSE TERRAIN
Similar to the island’s melting pot of culture and vibrant color palate, Curaçao offers an immensely diverse terrain. When visitors aren’t lounging beach side or taking in the culture, they can connect with the nature around them. Christoffel Park is the largest and most biodiverse park on the island with tours and guided hikes available to scratch that exploration itch. If guests are looking for something a little more off the beaten path, they can take their pick between visiting the Curaçao Ostrich farm, Curaloe–the aloe garden, or the Hato Caves. There’ still even more to explore.
