Royal Caribbean Cruise Line
Solo cruise vacations are becoming increasingly popular and select Royal Caribbean ships have studio staterooms. These rooms are designed specifically with solo travelers in mind, and you can say goodbye to single supplement fees. If you’d rather go with another option, there’s nothing wrong with paying a bit more and having a larger stateroom to yourself.

Royal Caribbean has an ongoing promotion for Singles – the rate is called “Single NRD” (see print screen). If your client is over 55, they also qualify for the Senior NRD rate discount – every little bit helps to add up to a good deal! (this was posted in 2023)

AMA Waterways River Cruises
On the river cruising front, AmaWaterways has a limited number of ships that have a few solo cabins. They do book up quickly but you may have some luck. It’s primarily on their France itineraries. They are also promoting some cruises with zero supplement through the end of the year.
(I see about 30 different river cruises listed with no single supplement)

NCL and virgin have a lot of solo cabins which are usually a few hundred less than going in a normal cabin solo, celebrity and royal also have some on a few ships, but they go fast.
There is an ongoing promotion with Silversea for a limited number of cruises with 0 single supplement. However, I believe this is only available in the European markets for European residents, which we cannot book as it stands at the moment. Hurtigruten and Ponant regularly wave single supplements on certain cruises too.
Celebrity has some single cabins on Edge class ships but you have to get them quickly since there aren’t that many of them available.
